Annual Plant Sales

Organized annually by Marlene and her crew of volunteers, everything is grown on-site in our unheated greenhouse.  The Spring Sale specializes in cold-tolerant plants and the larger Summer Sale includes our full range of plants.  We offer a wide variety of our favorite garden vegetables, including both heirlooms and hybrids (tomatoes are a best-seller at the Summer Sale), plus a smaller selection of culinary herbs and a few favorite flower varieties, such as zinnia and sunflowers.  Although we are not organic certified, we use only the best organic materials and methods (including soil mix made by Vermont Compost).  Our plants get extra TLC from experienced gardeners -- we think you'll see and taste the difference!  Moreover because we are entirely volunteer-run, we are able to sell our exceptionally healthy gardener-grown plants without charging a premium.  Help get your garden off to a great start, while supporting your local Community Gardens (including our Soup Kitchen Garden, with over 4,000 lbs of produce donated annually).

We offer a Friday presale for our gardeners and volunteers, who enjoy a 20% discount.  All proceeds go to support Helfand Farm Community Gardens, an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit. Thank you for your support!
