Soup Kitchen Garden
Helfand Farm Community Gardens contributes hundreds of pounds of fresh produce to soup kitchens in the area every year. Volunteers are an important part of making that happen.
Whether you are a first-time gardener or following a lifelong passion, working on the Soup Kitchen Garden is a great opportunity to learn and practice organic gardening. Helfand Soup Kitchen Garden uses organic, small-scale techniques that are directly transferable to your own garden.
Community Herb Garden
Helfand Farm has an herb garden that is free and open to all members of our Community Gardens. Volunteers are always needed to plant, weed, fertilize, and water.
